The Hungarian organist, harpsichordist and oianist, Miklós Spányi, studied harpsichord and organ at the Ferenc Liszt Music Academy with Ferenc Gergely and János Sebestyén. He continued his studies at the Royal Flemish Conservatory (Koninklijk Vlaams Muziekconservatorium) in Antwerp with Jos van Immerseel and at the Hochschule für Music in Munich with Hedwig Bilgram. He has won first prize at international harpsichord competitions in Nantes (1984) and Paris (1987).

| | | C P E Bach - Solo Keyboard Music Volume 17The ‘Württemberg’ Sonatas (2)
Miklós Spányi (clavichord) 'This may be the answer to clavichord fans’ dreams, as Miklós Spányi makes a persuasive case for the instrument in this music (especially in the more intimate sections). Given that these works came quite early in CPE Bach’s career, there is a terrific variety and emotional development to them – Spányi certainly has their measure.' - James Inverne - Gramophone Magazine | | | Usually despatched in 2 - 3 working days. |
