Presto CD - Argo
Today sees the release of twenty new Presto CD titles, all taken from the vaults of Argo. There are several vintage performances from The Choir of King's College Cambridge and Stephen Cleobury, including works by Victoria, Palestrina, Britten and Vivaldi, a couple of landmark organ recitals from Peter Hurford and Thomas Trotter, and music from a fair few contemporary composers including Roger Sessions, Peter Maxwell Davies, Kevin Volans and Paul Schoenfield.

Stephen Cleobury conducts The Choir of King's College, Cambridge in in two motets and the masses based on them: Palestrina's 'Tu es Petrus' and Victoria's 'O Quam gloriosum'.
