Presto CD, Presto CD - 50 new Deutsche Grammophon titles

Presto CD - 50 new Deutsche Grammophon titlesHighlights from this week's predominantly orchestral batch include Giuseppe Sinopoli's Bruckner with the Staatskapelle Dresden, Bernstein conducting Copland and Brahms, and two discs of Karl Richter in Bach. There's also the chance to catch several great singers in repertoire outside their usual territory, such as Ben Heppner in Tosti, Bryn Terfel in Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Agnes Baltsa singing songs from her native Greece.

There are several rarities on the contemporary music front, too, including the late Gunther Schuller's Spectra, Milton Babbitt's Correspondences, Sinopoli's Lou Salomé Suites and music by Bakshi, Dunayevsky and Pelecis from Kremerata Baltica.

You can view all available Presto CDs (now numbering well over 1000 titles!) here.
