Pietro Marc'Antonio Cesti (Italian pronunciation: [anˈtɔːnjo ˈtʃesti]) known today primarily as an Italian composer of the Baroque era, was also a singer (tenor), and organist. He was "the most celebrated Italian musician of his generation".
