Quintessenz is the name of this flute ensemble hailing from Leipzig. On this, their first recording, they play
such classic and well known pieces as Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals” and Bizet’s “Children’s
Games”. Together with music by Debussy and Ravel. Not only is the playing world class but the ensemble
performs the music in their own arrangements. A unique and talented group of musicians.
