For our latest batch of Presto CDs we've delved into DG's back catalogue and brought back over 50 great blasts from the past – including a magisterial account of Widor's 5th Symphony from Simon Preston, Christian Thielemann's Schubert symphonies, Abbado's many and varied collaborations with the LSO, and Gidon Kremer's dazzling selection of unaccompanied violin showpieces.
As with all our Presto CDs (you can browse through the full range here), these are top-notch performances from the finest musicians of the twentieth century that wouldn't otherwise be available – and we're thrilled to be able to bring them back into our catalogue!
