VMS label |
The German label Schwann, which had very Franco-Belgian roots from its founder the Abbot Carl de Nys, existed for 40 years. When Koch bought the label in 1988, it became KOCH Schwann. In 2002 Universal KOCH repurchased and ceased any production on label KOCH Schwann. The artists and the projects remained outstanding, without prospects. Dieter Heuler, who was the producer and artistic director of Koch Schwann, and Joe Morscher decided to create a new label, VMS, to continue what was in preparation, and to continue to make live the spirit which animated the Schwann label - to find and make live lost musical treasures! |
