Louise Pellerin (oboe) (oboe d'amore), Dom André Laberge (organ) Musician of a great sensitivity, Louise Pellerin shares her passion and enthusiasm for music, drawing from a richness of sound, colours, and expression. Born in Canada, and now living in Switzerland, she is an internationally-know artist. Dom André Laberge is organist at the Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac (Quebec, Canada), and divides his time — besides his monastic duties and his tasks as the Abbey Prior, Novice Master, and Organist — between private teaching and recording. This recording features Louise Pellerin and Dom Laberge playing works by Bach meant, or transcribed for oboe and organ at the church of the Abbey of Saint-Benoît du Lac. |
