Schubert - Piano Music

During the concert season of 2005/06 Lars Vogt embarked on challenging series of solo concert performances featuring the piano music of Franz Schubert. The intense and thoughtful performances on this release bear witness to the pianists close association with this music during this period. Vogt also set himself the challenge of recording the pieces in a very short period of time which give these recordings a feeling of spontaneity and excitement.
