The best clarinettist of our time is generally accepted to be Sabine Meyer – a status she has had for many years now. In 1983, she founded the family ensemble Trio di Clarone together with her husband Reiner Wehle and her brother Wolfgang Meyer with the aim of bringing to light forgotten treasures of the chamber music repertoire, which they perform either as a trio or with additional guest musicans.
