Lestari Scholtes (1984) and Gwylim Janssens (1985) formed a piano duo in 2003 and are currently regarded as being one of the most promising piano duos of their generation. Critical reactions to their debut in Carnegie Hall in May 2009 were appreciative: “it could well have been 25 or 30 fingers, so big and well integrated was the sound. Terrific duo in top form.” The players are renowned for their enchanting sound, their great technical dexterity and their intense and energetic performances and have given concerts in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Great Britain.
