Orff’s choral cantata Catulli Carmina is part of the tritptych which includes Carmina Burana, but is not nearly so well known. Stravinsky’s Les Noces is a ballet-cantata based on a Russian peasant wedding. Both are in the capable hands of Cambreling and the renowned EuropaChorAkademie.
