Fresh from their recent triumphs at the Proms, and an unprecedented three appearances in one season, Katia and Marielle, present their first recording of Satie's music. After having taken it in turns to interpret his seminal Gymnopédies, Katia and Marielle divided the other pieces amongst themselves in consideration of their respective temperaments. The pair are finally reunited in the duets, having determined upon the very first and very last collections of Satie's pieces for four hands.
