Issac Albeniz will be forever associated with his most famous work, “Suite Iberia”. The pieces on this CD, dating 1880 and therefore some of his earliest compositions, illustrate the inventiveness and genius of this great composer. These are sadly neglected works and are given a touching and sensitive performance by Spanish pianist Sira Hernandez.
