legendary recording of the Piano and Organ Sonatas by Julius Reubke (1834-1858). Only 24
when he died it is hard to imagine that Reubke would not be hailed as one of the giants of organ
composition today. Both Claudius Tanski and Martin Sander received high critical praise for their
