Osnabruck Symphony Orchestra, Hermann Baumer

Joseph Bohuslav Foerster (1859-1951). These huge symphonies were composed in 1888 and 1890 respectively. One of Foerster’s great champions was Mahler who told the composer that he intended to conduct all of his symphonies.
