All three pieces on this CD were composed by virtuoso pianist composers and their pianist partners in these works would have been their sister, pupil or wife. Bartok and his wife extended the four-hand, two piano repertoire and the cadenzas in the 1st and 3rd movements of the Mozart Concerto are by Bartok.
