For a long time, Rhineland musical culture was in the shadow of the great Flemish musicians of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries who were active at the main courts of the time. Today it is perceived as more valuable art with its own independent character. This CD ties in with an exhibition at the LandesMuseum in Bonn and the researchers have found some undiscovered musical treasures.
