An inviting and unique collection of works for piano, organ and harmonium draw together by Jean-Pierre Ferey and Frédéric Ledroit and already receiving critical acclaim. Interest for this recording will no doubt come from the harmonium aspect. Although the piano and organ have always had their admirers, the harmonium has fallen into disuse, after having its moment of glory in the 19th Century. The harmonium is another keyboard instrument with bellows and is related to the organ in its use of registers of different sonorities.
