Fonds Blancheton (currently at the Bibliothéque nationale in Paris) is one of the largest manuscript collections of instrumental music – symphonies, concerti and chamber. The collection includes a set of 50 violin concerti and this release draws from that collection producing a wonderful disc from contemporaries of Vivaldi. All are world premiere recordings.
