Born in Nancy (France) in 1906 Jean Cartan learned piano from early childhood. His musical vocation emerged little by little and at the age of fourteen decided to devote himself to it, and by 1925 his creativity emerged. Sadly his life ended in a sanatorium where he died in 1932. This disc of his chamber works also includes three world premiere recordings.
