BIS - Sibelius Edition

The Sibelius Edition on BIS started in 1979 with the recording of Volume 1 of the composer's complete original piano music. This was released on BIS-LP-153, and later re-released as a CD with the same catalogue number. Since then the number of volumes has increased steadily, and the Edition now includes all genres, such as orchestral works, chamber music and songs. Please note that over the years a number of works – for instance the Symphonies – have been re-recorded, and appear in parallel versions in the BIS catalogue.
