Super Audio CD

Here we offer a range of SACDs (Super Audio CDs).

Super Audio CD is a new audio format, recorded using Direct Stream Digital (DSD) technology, offering extremely high quality sound.

There are two basic types of SACD recording: 2-channel stereo and multi-channel surround sound.

Almost all SACDs currently on offer are 'hybrids', meaning that they may still be played on a standard CD player although the full benefits will be apparent only when played on an SACD player. (Some DVD players also play SACDs.)
