Hausegger’s compositions encompass a great many vocal works including songs, two operas, the symphonic poems Barbarossa and Wieland der Schmied, and his main work, the massive Nature Symphony. Composed in 1911 for full orchestra the work includes a chorus set to text by Goethe.
