The Mirecourt Trio

This collection brings together a number of American piano trios composed between 1915 and 1979. All of the music is rare, with the Cowell and Creston performed from manuscripts. The major piece, Creston's 1979 Trio, Op. 112, was commissioned by the Mirecourt Trio, which gave its world premiere on 15 April 1980.
