Bach, J S: Prelude & Fugue Book 2 No. 21, BWV890

This CD features transcriptions of Bach compositions by Busoni as well as a selection from Bartók’s own edition of the Well Tempered Clavier. Busoni was a world famous and phenomenal pianist but his Bach transcriptions received a lot of opposition. Jan Michiels performs on an 1875 Steinway.
