Catherine White (harp) Worcester Cathedral Chamber Choir, Stephen Shellard The first commercial release on Regent of the Worcester Cathedral Chamber choir. Recorded in the historic Worcester Cathedral, this collection of Christmas music draws on some of the best-known composers in 20th century music, including Benjamin Britten and Ralph Vaughan-Williams. The collection also includes the first recordings of two carols by Bristol composer Steven Kings and is the first choral recording using the recently installed Kenneth Tickell Quire Organ. “The carilloning accompaniment in David Willcocks’ arrangement showcases Worcester’s new Quire organ. Unaccompanied voices shine for Elizabeth Poston’s folk-tune arrangement, smoothly yet steadily presented” MusicWeb International, November 2012 | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |
