Trudelies Leonhardt, the sister of the harpsichordist Gustav Leonhardt, has long been regarded as the world’s foremost exponent of music for fortepiano. On this new release from Globe Records she plays some of the very last compositions of Franz Schubert. The instrument used for this recording is by Benignus Seidner, Vienna ca 1815 / 1820.
