The discovery of several manuscripts of works previously unperformed, unknown or believed lost has allowed Giorgio Koukl to extend its acclaimed series of Martinu’s piano music for Naxos.
This seventh and final volume includes several world première recordings – all but two of these works have never been recorded before.

“Koukl glides effortlessly through all the pieces (some of which sound decidedly tricky) and once again produces a programme of enjoyment and interest in equal measure.” Gramophone Magazine, November 2009
