Following a career that has seen over 100 top flight recordings, Emma Kirkby turns her attention to the Polish composer Zielenski and a first recording with DUX. Zielenski’s only surviving works are two 1611 liturgical cycles of polychoral works, Offertoria and Communiones totius anni. Both are recorded here for the first time, and surely a warm reception awaits.
