The Guardian

18th March 2010

****

“Even in his 102nd year, Elliott Carter's creativity shows few signs of faltering...Every piece...seems charged with energy and with a sheer delight in its own fluent invention.”

Sunday Times

28th March 2010

****

“What better 101st birthday present than this double album gathering recent Carter works of all shapes and sizes, performed by his devotees?”

BBC Music Magazine

July 2010

****

“Textures are pared down to their essence, a quality exemplified in the abundance of perfectly turned little miniatures for one or two instruments...All these things, whether tiny and serene or big-boned and impassioned, are performed with touching care by starry performers”
