Recorded in the world-famous Abbey this CD encapsulates the world of contemporary church music being a selection of the music sung week in week out at the Abbey by its celebrated choir. Many of the tracks were composed by Director of Music, Tim Blinko, most notably Memorare in which the acoustic of the Abbey generates harmonic tones which resonate with the choir’s singing: a truly ethereal sound effect.
The final track of the CD was composed by a young and very talented student, Ellie Barnard. Full of energy and joie de vivre, it gives a new slant to Charles Wesley’s famous words.
