The Budapest Clarinet Quartet was founded in 1995 with the aim to make the audience acquainted with this special form of chamber music. Its founder members were János Szepesi, Ákos Pápai, László Mayer and György Reé. The ensemble appears regularly at the Hungarian Radio and have enjoyed four American tours from Canada to New Mexico.
