This is Andres Villamil’s debut CD and pays homage to the music of his country. He has selected original compositions for guitar, as well as his own arrangements of Colombian songs and instrumental pieces. The programme ends with four of his own works. Villamil studied in Columbia and Germany and in 2004 won a first prize in the international “Voice and Guitar” competition in Germany.
