Hyacinthe Jadin passed away on September 27th 1800, on the eve of a promising career. His twelve quartets were published between 1795 and 1798 and followed in the style of Haydn, in fact the first three quartets were dedicated to the great composer. With little or no competition these delightful works will be warmly welcomed by the chamber music fraternity.
