Anna Moffo was one of the top American divas in the fifties and sixties and was a lyric soprano. These recordings date from 1955-1959, when she was in her prime. She studied at the Rome Conservatory and during that time recorded La Bohème with Maria Callas, in what has become a legendary recording.
