Egidius Quartet & Collegium

The six volumes of the 16th-century Leiden Choirbooks have only recently come to light and all the recordings in this project are world premiere recordings. This volume contains a number of motets, as well as repertoire intended specifically for the Hours, so might be called a “Book of Offices”.

Volume 1 was well received.
