In Venice 1651, Cavalli presented his new opera “La Rosinda” at the Teatro San Apolinaire. It is a story of love and magic and is one of the least performed 17th century operas, which is a tragedy in itself. Mike Fentross conducts a cast of known and young singers in this spectacular performance. This is a 3cd set and represents great value.
