| | | Cantus Angelicus
Heldur Harry Põlda (boy soprano) Tallinn Sinfonietta, Risto Joost Recorded in St. Jacob’s Church in Viimsi, Estonia, boy soprano Heldur Harry Polda is studying at the Tallinn Music High School and performs a beautiful selection of gentle works by Gluck, Cacinna, Faure, Schubert and includes Lionel Bart’s ‘Where is Love’ from Oliver. He is joined on this recording by the Tallinn Sinfonietta and conducted by veteran conductor Risto Joost to present a definitive collection, Cantus angelicus. “Põlda is not averse to using some restrained vibrato, though this seems to heighten the perceived vulnerability in his young voice, rather than propel him into mini-tenor territory...One of the highlights is actually the final song, Caruso, which shows Põlda’s convincing ability to emote as a singer.” MusicWeb International, 18th April 2013 |

| | | David Daniels & Craig Ogden: A Quiet ThingSongs for Voice and Guitar
One of David Daniels’ great passions is to explore repertoire not necessarily associated with the countertenor voice. He also really likes to sing with guitar. The result is a delightful program of songs that David performs regularly in recital, ranging from gems by Dowland and Purcell to American classics like Beautiful Dreamer and the title song, John Kander’s A Quiet Thing. Leading Australian guitarist Craig Ogden has made the arrangements and accompanies David in a collection designed to be ‘very intimate, and full of beautiful words and melodies’. | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |
