Born to a music family, Kehrer studied music at an early age but later became a mathematics teacher after graduating physical and mathematical college. After a long break, he returned to his music studies. After Rudolf Kehrer won at the All-Union Competition of Music Performers in 1961 (1st prize), he achieved his so long-awaited fame. |
