Avie welcomes back an artist with a truly exciting project. At her debut solo recital, pianist Evelyn Chang draws attention to her musical and cultural roots: to eastern musical poetry. With a mixture for contemporary composers and the selections of Scriabin’s 24 preludes Op. 11 , Evelyn Chang embarkes a emotional and personal journey showing her skills not only as a virtuoso but also as a true artist, fully understanding the vocabulary of each of these works and also exploring her experience in the Western Cultural spectrum some of the pieces also have.

Presenting Rudolf Kehrer, one of the most extraordinary and original representatives of the Russian piano school of the 20th century. This remarkable musician is a rare example of a combination of scientific and creative talents. Born to a music family, Kehrer studied music at an early age but later became a mathematics teacher after graduating physical and mathematical college. After a long break, he returned to his music studies. After Rudolf Kehrer won at the All-Union Competition of Music Performers in 1961 (1st prize), he achieved his so long-awaited fame.
