| | | Rossini - Complete Overtures
“Twenty-four overtures, plus two sinfonias make a delightful package in such sparkling performances, which eruditely use original orchestrations. The well-known popular overtures stand competition with the best. Indeed, William Tell has almost Toscaninian thrust in the final gallop, but it is the frothy, infectious music-making which one enjoys the most.” Penguin Guide, 2011 edition | | | In stock - usually despatched within 1 working day. |
