Christine Rayner (solo piano) Christine Rayner plays Ludovico Einaudi’s music for solo piano in aid of UK Cancer Charities and Research. The calming influence of the pieces selected for this collection create a sanctuary in which the stresses of daily life have no place. “On first hearing the beautiful Le Onde by Ludovico Einaudi in 2009 I was captivated. This piece touched me deeply, and playing his music has since become a vital part of my life. The calming influence of many of Einaudi’s works creates for me a sanctuary in which the stresses of daily life have no place. His music would undoubtedly have inspired and uplifted me during the dark months of my chemotherapy eleven years ago, and I regret that it was unknown to me at that time. With this in mind, I humbly present my selected pieces from Einaudi’s past albums as a compilation intended to offer the listener a restful hour of peace, calm and relaxation.” At least £1 per copy sold will be Gift-Aid donated to UK Cancer Charities. Donations from sales will also go to directly help fund Prof. Roy Bicknell’s research into alternative treatments to chemotherapy. “It’s very nice when music can help other people and I wish all the best to Christine Rayner’s beautiful project.” Ludovico Einaudi | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |

| | | Ludovico Einaudi: Royal Albert Hall Concert 2010Live 2nd March 2010
Ludovico Einaudi’s ‘Nightbook’ tour in 2010 was an unqualified success. Following on the heels of his massive studio album, the lineup included a full string ensemble and some extra instruments too, providing a sensitive backdrop to Ludovico’s entrancing piano style. The crowning height of the tour was the London concert, at the Royal Albert Hall. Here, the full theatricality of presentation could be exploited; the musicians arriving onstage from all compass points, playing in procession, the whole concert captured on DVD. But, theatrical though it may be, the set makes for a delightful listen, available on a double CD set. The 2CD set and the DVD are available separately; the DVD is the only available concert footage of Einaudi on the format. | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |

| | | Ludovico Einaudi: Royal Albert Hall Concert 2010 (2CD and 1DVD)Live 2nd March 2010
This new ‘live’ double album with DVD captures one of the most exciting moments of the ‘Nightbook’ tour, a mammoth 60 date concert schedule (Europe & United States) culminating in a spectacular evening at the Royal Albert Hall on the 2nd March 2010. Includes new arrangements from Einaudi’s repertoire including ‘Berlin Song’ and ‘Tu sei’ (previously unreleased from ‘Nightbook’ except as a bonus track with iTunes). The 2 CD set comes with a DVD that is the first of Einaudi’s career. The perfect gift for the dedicated fan or anyone discovering Enaudi’s music for the first time. 2CDs and 1 DVD “it's immediately apparent how easy Einaudi finds the whole music-making process. Slouching, with fingers sliding freely up and down the Steinway's keyboard, he looks as relaxed as someone sitting down for a little leisurely after-dinner improv. Rhythm seems to flow through him.” Classic FM Magazine, January 2011 **** “The music's carefully controlled pacing lends itself well to the resonant acoustic of the Albert Hall and lighting is also used effectively. Richard Lippok's ambient electronic manipulations add colour, texture and projection to Einaudi's deeply rich piano timbres...this is absolute music of a most absolute kind...and Einaudi's presence lies very much at the centre of it all.” Gramophone Magazine, January 2011 “The elements blended seamlessly on material ranging from the sombre "Bye Bye Mon Amour" to the evocative "Nightbook". "Lady Labyrinth" displays Einaudi's characteristic cyclical piano motif – not strictly minimalist – fattened by strings and driven by hand percussion, which develops a compelling momentum.” The Independent, 29th October 2010 **** | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |

| | | Ludovico Einaudi: Live In Berlin
A superb double CD set of a concert in Berlin 2007, a performance with Ludovico Einaudi on piano, accompanied by a six piece string ensemble. With the support of lavish strings and minimal electronic back up, this release should appeal too many outside of his fan base. Already this release is play listed at CFM radio, giving a guaranteed play twice a week. “Whilst there is some truth in the argument that Einaudi often constructs his music out of the cliches of popular culture, there are also more subtle layers at work here...when a composer can shape musical expression as simply, distinctly and directly as this, it is difficult not to listen up and take note.” Gramophone Magazine, September 2010 | | | Usually despatched in 4 - 5 working days. |
