Katia and Marielle Labèque (piano) There has never been any suggestion that the Labèque sisters are a gimmicky double-act. Here they prove once again just how richly talented they are and what a superbly understanding team they make. The only shame is that a full-price issue has a fairly miserly running time at 53 minutes. Quality not quantity, I know, but even so… - Gramophone Magazine “The Labèque sisters offer a truly superlative account of the great F minor Fantasy in rich, warm-blooded sound. …interplay in Mozart's D major Sonata is superbly handled, merrily witty in the outer movements and yielding an unusually elegiac Andante.” Gramophone Magazine, April 2008 | | | In stock - usually despatched within 1 working day. |
