The first of the two Gilbert & Sullivan re-releases this month from TER, is a highlights recording of The English National Opera’s 1986 landmark production of The Mikado. This Digital recording of the ENO’s critically acclaimed production of The Mikado, features the established English opera stars Felicity Palmer, Richard Van Allan, Richard Angas, Bonaventura Bottone, Mark Richardson, and the now hugely successful performer Leslie Garrett. Also of interest to many, will be the operatic debut of Eric Idle from the Monty Python team, singing gloriously, especially in his very own ‘Little List’ song.
