In celebration of the 200th Anniversary in January 2013 EMI Classics will release a box-set with the music relating to Grimms’ fairy tales. The fairy tales of the Brothers Grimm are a part of UNESCO’s Memory of the World Register for the preservation of cultural documents.

Since the first publication of the very first book of fairy tales in 1812 they have been fascinating children, parents, grandparents, adults and inspiring classical composers.
