Hi-Res New Releases

Alec Frank-Gemmill and Alasdair Beatson explore the repertoire for horn and piano that emerged during the nineteenth century - an era of huge change in the design of both instruments, which permitted and indeed encouraged experimentation by composers. A selection of contemporary instruments give an excellent feel for the changing sound of this unique chamber combination.
