Both of the works on this CD have opera connections. The Henze is derived from instrumental interludes in his opera Das verratene Meer (The Sea Betrayed). The Berg Suite is Five Symphonic Pieces from the opera “Lulu”. Appassionatamente plus is a live recording from May of 2010.
