In addition, this volume contains arrangements of La fille aux cheveux de lin and Il pleure dans mon coeur by the American violinist Arthur Hartmann, as well as Debussy's own arrangement of his well-known piano piece, Minstrels.

Handel: Judas Maccabaeus (Full Score)

Carus Verlag presents the first critical edition of Handel's oratorio. The frequent performances given by Handel himself resulted in a particularly large number of reworkings. A vocal score and orchestral material will be available later in the year.

George Benjamin: Lessons in Love and Violence (Vocal Score)

Inspired by the fast-moving scenes and vulnerable, complex characters of Elizabethan drama, this new opera by George Benjamin considers what space, if any, exists for love and human affection inside the dangerous machinery of power. Orchestral

Dvořák: Symphony No. 8 in G major, op. 88 (Full Score)

The performance material available up until now for Dvořák's Eighth Symphony has been notorious for its myriad mistakes. Jonathan Del Mar's new edition takes into account the engraver’s copy, which was discovered in a bin in 1964. Its title page bears the words “Copied from my original manuscript” in Dvořák's hand. This source proves that many of the readings contained in the first edition, and faithfully adopted in all subsequent editions, were simply slips of the copyist’s pen.

Orchestral material also available.

Available Format: Sheet Music

Vaughan Williams: Symphony No. 4 (Study Score)

Described by Walton as the 'greatest symphony since Beethoven', Vaughan Williams's Fourth Symphony is noted for its dissonant harmonic language. This new scholarly edition from Oxford University Press, edited by David Matthews, replaces the previous edition from 1935. The preface includes an explanation of editorial method and detailed textual notes.
