Choral music is an ensemble of singers singing together. There are many types of choirs including 2-Part, Men’s Voices, SATB (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass), SAB (Soprano, Alto and Bass), SSA (female voices), A cappella (unaccompanied), Unison and more. Popular Choral composers include J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, W.A. Mozart, Michael Praetorius, Henry Purcell, and John Rutter. Some well-known choirs include The Sixteen, Monteverdi Choir, Polyphony, Cardinall’s Musick and Kings College Choir, Cambridge.
