Announcement, Presto 20th Anniversary - Call-Out for Videos

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Presto Music launching its website, and the 35th anniversary of the shop first opening in Leamington Spa, and to celebrate these milestones we are currently producing a short documentary about our story. And whilst it's all very well to bang our own drum, we wouldn't be anything without our loyal customer base, and so we would like you to play a part in the film. So this is a call-out for any heart-warming, moving or humorous stories that you might have from your experience as a Presto Music customer.

• Maybe you needed a piece of obscure sheet music in time for a performance at a wedding?
• Or perhaps you accidentally sat on a loved one's precious CD of the Hammerklavier and needed to replace it before they noticed?
• Did a Recording of the Week editorial lead to an obsession with a composer that you hadn't previously encountered?
• Is your nearest record shop a 500-mile trek to the other side of the Himalayas?

Whatever your story we would love to hear it, preferably in your own words in the form of a short video diary. So if you would like to send us a video please follow these guidelines:

• Keep it short - no more than 40 seconds, please
• Record it in landscape mode, not portrait
• Make sure you are facing a light source - for example do not have a window behind you, as this will cast you in shadow
• Make sure your background is how you’d like it
• Do your best to position the camera at eye level
• Make sure the phone/camera is steady, in a fixed position - ideally not filmed 'hand-held’
• Make sure your voice is clear, without too much background noise
• Ideally it will be in English, but if you would prefer to say it in your own language please provide a transcription in English that we can use as subtitles

All entries will be gratefully received and watched, and we will select the most interesting for the video. Sadly there will not be time to include all entries in the finished film, but If we receive enough we plan to make a special bonus video collecting them all together.
